Securus has been helping us make sure that we can advocate for all the people who deserve it, and we want to make sure that we can help people to be sure that they can take care of their cases. We know that we have to reach out and teach everyone how to manage their cases, and we also have to be sure that they know good information about their case. The case will be much easier to manage when these inmates have information, and we call in with Securus because it is a video calling system.
Video calling to jails gives the inmates a chance to see us, and they can learn to trust us as we talk to them. There are a lot of these people sitting in jail without any kind of assistance, and we are trying to show them that they can get their case back into the courts or start filing motions. We have to get to work really fast, and we have to talk tot he clients to find out how fast they want to move. This is important if they want to get their case overturned, and it is more important if a whole new investigation has to be done.
The Securus system has been seamless for us, and we want to be sure that we are teaching them about their case. They are often left out of the loop, and we know that it can be a terrible thing for them when they do not know what is going on. I am very happy to do this work, and I want to keep doing it until we get all the advocacy clients out of jail. I want to show them that they can have a new life that will start when we retry their case.
